Brief Description

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has invited online applications for the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025. PET is a mandatory qualifying exam for all candidates wishing to apply for various Group 'C' posts in different departments of the Uttar Pradesh government. The PET score will be valid for a period of three years from the date of result declaration. This is the first stage of a two-tier examination system.

  • Fee can be paid online via Credit Card, Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or through an SBI e-Challan.

Age Limit (as on 01/07/2025)

The age of the candidates will be calculated as on July 1, 2025.

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 40 Years
  • Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government rules.

Vacancy Details

This is a Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) and not a recruitment drive for specific posts. Therefore, there are no vacancies announced in this notification. The purpose of this exam is to shortlist candidates for upcoming Main Examinations for various Group 'C' posts. The PET scorecard will be required to apply for these future vacancies.

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have passed High School (Class 10th) or any equivalent examination from a recognized board. All candidates who have acquired this qualification before the last date of application are eligible to apply.

How to Apply

  1. Applications must be submitted online through the commission's official website: upsssc.gov.in. No other mode will be accepted.
  2. The application process involves five parts: Candidate Registration, Photo & Signature Upload, Filling Remaining Form Details, Fee Payment & Submission, and taking a Printout of the application form.
  3. Ensure all details like name, date of birth, category, and educational qualifications are filled correctly.
  4. Upload a recent color photograph (taken within the last 6 months) and signature as per the specified format.
  5. Pay the application fee online before the deadline.
  6. Take a printout of the final submitted application form for future reference.
