Brief Description

The Government of Andhra Pradesh, School Education Department, has announced the Mega DSC-2025 for a massive recruitment of teachers. Applications are invited for the posts of School Assistants (SA), Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), and Physical Education Teachers (PET) in various Government, Zilla Parishad, Mandal Parishad, Municipal, and Tribal Welfare schools across the state through the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Recruitment Test (AP TRT).

Application Fee

Fee per Post ₹ 750/-

Payment Mode: Online via Payment Gateway. Candidates who applied for the cancelled DSC-2024 notification must reapply for the same posts without any payment.

Age Limit (as on 01/07/2024)

The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 44 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories:

  • SC / ST / BC / EWS: 49 years
  • Persons with Disabilities: 54 years

Qualification Details

  • Candidates must be fully qualified and possess all required certificates by the last date of application submission.
  • Candidates with a D.Ed (Special Education) or B.Ed (Special Education) appointed to general school posts (SGT/SA) must undergo a six-month Special Programme in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE.

Selection Process

Computer Based Test (CBT)

  • The selection will be based on a Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted in all district headquarters.
  • A normalization procedure will be adopted for the scores obtained in the CBT.
  • The final selection will be based on the merit list generated from the CBT scores, following the rule of reservation.
  • There shall be no waiting list for this recruitment.

  2. First, pay the application fee of ₹750 per post to receive a 'Journal Number'.
  3. Use the Journal Number to proceed with the submission of the online application form.

  5. Upload all required certificates at the time of application submission, as Hall Tickets will not be generated otherwise.

Yes, you can apply for more than one post according to your eligibility. You must pay the ₹750 fee for each post separately and clearly specify your order of preference in the application, as this preference cannot be changed later.

2. I applied for the DSC-2024 notification that was cancelled. Do I need to pay the fee again?

If you are reapplying for the exact same post you applied for in the cancelled DSC-2024 notification, you do not need to pay the fee. However, if you wish to apply for a different or additional post, you must pay the fee for it.
