Brief Description
The Government of India, Ministry of Railways, through the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs), has released the Detailed Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) No. 05/2025. This notification invites online applications for the recruitment of 2569 vacancies for the posts of Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA). Eligible candidates with a Diploma, B.E/B.Tech, or B.Sc. can apply online through the official RRB websites from 31.10.2025 to 30.11.2025.

Note (Fee Refund):
- For General category (₹500/-), ₹400/- will be refunded (after deducting bank charges) after appearing in the 1st Stage CBT.
- For Reserved categories (₹250/-), the full fee of ₹250/- will be refunded (after deducting bank charges) after appearing in the 1st Stage CBT.
Age Limit (as on 01/01/2026)
Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age: 33 Years
Age relaxation is applicable as per rules for reserved categories (e.g., 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL).

Eligibility Criteria
Junior Engineer (JE)
- Three years Diploma in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / relevant Engineering discipline. OR
- B.E / B.Tech in relevant Engineering discipline.
Depot Material Superintendent (DMS)
- Three years Diploma in any Engineering discipline from a recognized University/Institution.
Chemical & Metallurgical Asst. (CMA)
- Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) in Science with Physics and Chemistry, with a minimum of 45% marks.
Selection Process
The recruitment process involves two stages of Computer Based Tests (CBTs), followed by Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination.
