Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for 25,487 Constable GD Posts. Applications are open from 01 December to 31 December 2025.
Brief Description
The Staff Selection Commission will conduct an open competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Constable (General Duty) in BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, SSF and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles. The recruitment process will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Medical Examination and Document Verification.

Age Relaxation: SC/ST: 5 Yrs, OBC: 3 Yrs, Ex-Servicemen: 3 Yrs (after deduction of service).

Eligibility & Qualification
Educational Qualification (As on 01/01/2026)
- Candidates must have passed Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/University.
- Result must be declared on or before 01-01-2026.
NCC Certificate Bonus Marks
- NCC 'C' Certificate: 5% of Max Marks
- NCC 'B' Certificate: 3% of Max Marks
- NCC 'A' Certificate: 2% of Max Marks

Exam Pattern (Computer Based Exam)
The exam will consist of one Objective Type Paper containing 80 questions carrying 2 marks each.
