Brief Description

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released the notification for the enrollment of Home Guard Volunteers (Swayamsevak). A total of 41,424 vacancies are available across 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who have passed Class 10th (High School) and are residents of the respective district can apply online from 18th November 2025 to 17th December 2025.

Application Fee

Candidates can pay the exam fee through Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.

How to Apply Online

The application process involves multiple steps including One Time Registration (OTR). Follow the instructions below carefully:

  1. Step 1: One Time Registration (OTR): Candidates must first register on the UPPRPB OTR platform using a unique Email ID and Mobile Number. DigiLocker verification is required during OTR.
  2. Step 2: Login: After OTR, login to the portal using your OTR Number, Aadhaar, or DigiLocker credentials.
  3. Step 3: Fill Application: Fill in your personal details, educational qualifications, and select the district (Domicile District).
  4. Step 4: Live Photograph:
    • The system will capture a Real-Time (Live) Photo via webcam.
    • Ensure you are not wearing a cap, mask, or dark glasses.
    • The background should be plain and well-lit.
    • Do NOT wear any uniform while taking the photo.
  5. Step 5: Upload Signature:
    • Upload a scanned signature on white paper with Black Ink.
    • Size: 30KB to 50KB (JPG/JPEG).
    • Dimensions: 50mm x 20mm.
  6. Step 6: Upload Documents:
    • Candidates are advised to upload documents (Mark sheets, Caste Certificate, Domicile) via DigiLocker.
    • If documents are not on DigiLocker, scan and upload them manually.
  7. Step 7: Fee Payment: Pay the application fee (₹400 for Gen/OBC/EWS, ₹300 for SC/ST) online via Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI.
  8. Step 8: Final Submission: Preview the application form and click "Submit". Take a printout of the final application for future reference.
